The Lisbon of Fernando Pessoa

Fernando Pessoa is the most important Portuguese writer. Born in Lisbon in 1888, he lived mainly in the Portuguese capital, having also lived in South Africa during his childhood.

He is one of the greatest poets of our time. In his youth, he lived in the Carmo area, a few meters from the Lisboa Pessoa Hotel, a hotel in Lisbon dedicated to him.
